Why I built it
SPF has a limit of ten DNS lookups during evaluation. More SaaS apps, vibe-coded products and plain old tool sprawl make it easier to hit. A product can ask a customer to add six lookups just to use it, often without the maker understanding what that means for the customer's existing setup. I built Emailmetry because the person on the receiving end of those instructions shouldn't be left with the mess.
The approach
Emailmetry reduces lookups in supported SPF records by resolving provider references into sending IP ranges, then refreshing those ranges as providers change them. Customers add a DNS record without moving their email or DNS service.
People should be able to use the tools they need without becoming SPF experts to keep their email working.
